What are transfers to RRSP

You can transfer money between your RRSPs without triggering tax consequences. In certain situations, you can make other transfers to your RRSP, and between your RRSP and other registered plans, or,

the transfers refer to income that was transferred into an RRSP from a registered retirement income fund (RRIF), PRPP, SPP, or transferable retirement allowance. Your deduction limit is not reduced by this amount.

For more information about RRSPs, please follow our TurboTax Article Schedule 7 Tax Form: RRSPs in Canada.
