Basically, I had Turbotax autofill from CRA. It found 3 T4A's from 2019. I am a full time student in Newfoundland whose income is primarily from student aid NL. Is this correct? Is my student aid considered income? I look to be getting a decent return amount, but I usually get next to nothing. I have never claimed my student aid as income. I checked my CRA account for the past few years and see multiple T4A's I never entered.
Yes, you would have received a T4A from the Institution where you study, which is then given to the CRA. I would suggest you contact the CRA and ask them if when you filed your previous tax returns and they assessed them, did they add the T4A previously.
Otherwise, you will have to go and Refile your previous years. Call them at 1-800-959-8281 to clarify your previous T4As.
