That is correct since turbotax was defaulted to say you do qualify. Answering the questions is only a qualifier so if you do not qualify, your refund will actually go down.

There are a few clues to look for in an RRSP receipt 1. you usually have 3 copies that are identical 2. It will say something like "Contributions made for the remainder of 2018" or "contributions made in the first 60 days of 2019" 3. You should see written on it "Registered Retirement Saving Plan" I hope this helps.

Yes. The $2000 pension income amount is a non-refundable credit that qualifying pensions receive. These are usually reported on a T4A or can be a foreign pension.
CPP and OAS Do NOT qualify.
