If you are on contract/self employed, then you would have to complete and submit a T2125 form with your tax return. Then you a list of expenses you are allowed to claim. You need to do your tax return as self employed. If you are an employee, your employer needs to complete and provide you with a T2200 form explaining the expenses you incurred to do your job as commissioned salesperson, then complete a T777 form.

We always need to enter the RRSP deduction limit if we want the RRSP to be included on the tax return, and then the tax deduction. Without this amount, the RRSP contribution and calculation on tax return is not taken into consideration.

You need to actually send your tax return by netfile and see a six digits confirmation number. Then you know CRA has it. TurboTax will not send your tax return to CRA for you, as you are responsible for it.
