First, you need to click Edit to the right of your question on this page, and delete the personal information, i.e. your tax and other numbers. Be sure to click Save at the bottom of the page to finish editing your question. This is a public peer help forum - you are advised not to include personal information when posting your question, and contributors here do not have access to your account or any information in it. The best way to get help here is to ask a clear question or explain your problem with any relevant (non-personal) information. If your return was not received by the CRA, it would be helpful to know what steps you took to file it, Did you use Netfile for your return, or did you print and mail it yourself?

Just to add to that (and to help others avoid similar situations), any time you are "experimenting" with the software, it is a good idea to use a dummy return, and always start a fresh one for your actual return. You do not pay for online editions until you are ready to print or netfile, so there is no cost to do this. In desktop editions, a return is only counted towards the limit when you print or file it.

If you are in Quebec, for your provincial return, your children born before January 1, 1997 will have to calculate the education amounts to be transferred on their Schedule S, which you will claim in Part B of your Schedule A. Your children born after December 31, 1996 do not complete Schedule S, and you claim the education amounts reported on their Releve 8 in Part A of your Schedule A. For tuition or examination fees, your children (whether they were born before January 1, 1997 or after December 31, 1996) calculate the amount to be transferred in Parf B of their Schedule T, which you claim in Part D of your Schedule A. Note that this amount will reduce the amount that your children can carry forward in Part A of their Schedule T. Any questions?

Since a toilet is part of a building, it would be in the same class as the building itself:
A
building
may belong to class 1, 3, or 6,
depending on what the building is made of and the date you acquired it.
You also include in these classes the parts that make up the building, such as:
electrical wiring;
lighting fixtures;
plumbing;
sprinkler systems;
heating equipment;
air-conditioning equipment (other than window units);
elevators; and
escalators.

Because you can be re-assessed for up to 7 years after the initial assessment, it is a good idea to update your tax file to reflect the changes and print or save an updated pdf copy (for TT Online). This way, what you have for your records will match what the CRA has on file. (Be sure that you have a pdf copy, as your return will disappear from TT Online after next year.) Update: As it turns out, unless the discrepancy is the result of an error in data entry, you can't really update TT Online tax files to conform to the assessment, particularly if the difference stems from a discrepancy between the CRA's calculation and an amount calculated by TurboTax. The CRA's numbers do prevail (unless you contest them) in any case, so just keep in mind that your notice of assessment overrules your saved PDF copy for any future reference.
