Absolutely. This can be done by clicking on 'Help' in the top menu. From there you can select 'Upgrade' and this will walk you through the process. And you are correct, you will only be charged the difference between Basic and the new product you select. I hope this helps!

Do you recieve an error message? If yes, can you please share a screenshot of that message so that we can better assist you. Alternatively, you are able to proceed without downloading from the CRA and simply enter the tax data from the slips you have.

Hello Geno, The supporting service from the CRA is not currently available and will not be turned on from the CRA side until February 20th, 2017. Since we are pulling the data from the CRA via this service (Auto-fill), it will be made available in the product at that time.
