If you were living in Quebec on December 31st of the taxation year, you have to file a Quebec return and TurboTax will create it for you, if you answered that question correctly at the beginning of the interview.

Hello Katherine,
Depending on which version of TurboTax you are using, the answer will be different.
In TurboTax CD/Download you should choose Profile, in the left-hand side menu. Click continue till you find the page What happened for you in 2019? At the bottom of this page verify if you accidentally chose did you have self-employment, rental, or other income?
In TurboTax Online, go to My Info in the left-hand side menu, and scroll down to Get Started. Continue till you reach the page what happened for you in 2019? On this page scroll down midway and verify if this line is ticked: I was self-employed (freelancer, contractor, independent worker, professional, commission-based, farming, fishing)
For more information please review this link:
Why is TurboTax telling me I’m self-employed?
Have a good day,
Ginette

As a Uber driver, you are considered self-employed. As such, you have to complete federal form T2125 and provincial form TP-80 in Québec. Unless you registered a different name for your self-employed work for Uber you will fill the identification section of those forms with your personal information. In the online version of TurboTax that information is entered under the Income --> Self-Employment section.
I hope this information can help you.

You should contact your employer, he should provide you with a T4 and RL1 by February 28th of the year following the taxation year. If he refuses to comply you should contact CRA and Revenu Québec and let them know. You can get interest and penalties to any amount own if you don't produce your return by the filing deadline of the following year.

If you already filed your return you must first wait for your letter of assessment. The corrections you want to make may have already been applied by CRA and/or MRQ. If you have an RL31 that means that you are renting, you are also talking about "homemaking services" which lead me to believe that you own your residence. Can you give us more information on what you are trying to do exactly? You may be able to make the corrections directly in your online account with CRA and/or MRQ. The ReTransmit option is not yet available for Quebec resident. If you need to change a return that was already submitted you will
need to request an adjustment. The prescribed forms and contact information to join the CRA and
Revenu Quebec are available on their web sites, from the links below :
via CRA My Account,
by mail with form T1-ADJ Federal or
by phone
via
Revenu Quebec My Account,
by mail with form TP1.R Provincial or
by phone

This is probably due to the Quebec health insurance. Coverage is accessible to all residents under the province's public health insurance program, Régie de l'Assurance Maladie du Québec (RAMQ). The annual premium contribution is being paid to Revenu Québec through your tax return can vary between 0$ to 667$ pet person, depending on your net family income. You will find your contribution on line 447 of your Quebec tax return (TP1).
