Hi, My spouse is able to claim the Disability Tax Credit for a mental illness. Can counselling sessions with a social worker be claimed as a medical expense? If so, do you need a prescription or a note from your doctor? The government documentation says it should be "supervised by a medical professional". Thanks!

My wife went to school in September 2017 and withdrew for medical reasons after 2 months or so. Her tuition paid was fully refunded. So she won't get a T2202a, because her tuition balance is 0, correct? She hasn't gotten one from the school as of now. Also, is it still okay to submit a T4A for OSAP (which she did receive) when you don't have a T2202a?
