Why I have an over payment of CPP $ 475.00(Line 448)when I have only $26.5K as my salary and$1124 as CPP paid

My T4 salary is $26.4k and CPP paid is $1124. but Turbo Tax on line version shows $475 as over payment on line 448 and 308.

Verify on the T4 entry screen that the amount in Box 26 is equal to the amount in Box 14.

Yes, Box 14 and 26 are same.

I have tried to replicate your issue. View my screen shots of the software entries in my example. If the issue persists try and delete the T4, verify your tax summary line 308 and 448 are blank, then re-enter the t4 to see if that resolves the problem.

I am using Turbo Tax Community -Standard version and this problem persist, where as  when I do same entries in my Downloaded Standard Software , It shows NO over payment.

@nahksr also make sure your year of birth is entered correctly in the Online version of Turbo Tax. This could create an over-payment.

Thank you. My DOB is same in both cases. I AM OVER 60..

@nahksr Are you currently receiving Canada Pension and if so answered the question regarding a CPT30 on the T4A(P) screen?
