The Premium Pack is available for purchase in any of our TurboTax Online products for $60 as an in-product add-on. You pay for Premium Pack when you pay for your tax return, which is after you review your return and before you file.
What's included in Premium Pack?
- Priority Customer Care - If you need to speak to one of our care specialists, you won't have to sit and wait in line on the phone, and instead will be provided with an alternative line to reach our team to assist you right away.
- Audit Defence - In the event that you are audited after submitting your taxes (because even accurate returns get audited sometimes), we have you covered. Our partner, Canada Tax Resources Inc., will act entirely on your behalf to defend your return to the CRA.
- Identity Theft Monitoring - IDnotify will continuously monitor your identity, alerting you of potential threats, and will send you monthly detection reports.
- Assisted Identity Restoration - In the event that, while monitoring your identity, you find that someone has used your information, IDnotify will provide an expert to work alongside you and consult you at every step of the way until your identity is restored again.
Purchasing Premium Pack
- Once you've completed your return, but before filing, navigate to the Review section on the side rail.
- Select the option for Audit Defence.
- On the next screen, select the button for Yes I want to be protected.
- Confirm your purchase on the next page by entering your email address and phone number, and you're all set!
