Why am I getting a greyed out screen when using the license code switch feature?

Some TurboTax Desktop customers are getting a greyed out screen when using the license code switch feature.
To work around this error, follow these steps:
- Go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit Canada\tt20xx
- Right-click and select Edit on TTConfig file.
- Delete SmallGraph=34 100
- Add UseCustomUMID=1
- Save the TTConfig file.
- Launch TurboTax. It should prompt you to enter the license code.
