Can I use TurboTax to prepare my Québec TP1 tax return in English or French?
Yes, TurboTax products are available in both French and English. See the instructions for your edition of TurboTax below to get started:
TurboTax Online
To prepare your tax return:
Go to TurboTax.ca.
Select Get started.
On the next screen, under the product of your choice, select Get started and then sign in.
You can use the same sign-in credentials (user ID and password) to sign in to either language version of TurboTax. To switch languages, sign out from the language version that's currently active, then sign in to the other version.
TurboTax Desktop
To prepare your tax return in TurboTax Desktop:
On the Download your TurboTax product screen, under How to install TurboTax, follow the instructions for the product of your choice, and select Get started.
You can download and install both language versions of the product on the same computer using the same license code, and use either one to prepare your taxes.
