Which TurboTax product should I use if I'm self-employed?
by TurboTax•1• Updated 1 week ago
If you're considered self-employed by the CRA, or earn self-employment income (for example, if you're an independent contractor, freelancer, consultant, or sole proprietor), we recommend using one of these products to file your tax return:
- Do-it-yourself: TurboTax Self-Employed
- Do-it-yourself with expert help: TurboTax Live Assist & Review Self-Employed
- Have your taxes done by an expert: TurboTax Live Full Service Self-Employed
- Do-it-yourself Windows edition: TurboTax Home & Business
You can use any of our products to file your taxes. But our self-employment products help you find eligible expenses, credits, and deductions you can claim.
