Filed return with schedule 3 that's not applicable to me

Prior to filing my return via Netfile, there was a warning that I had to select a response for line 17905 on part 2 of schedule 3. The form is not applicable to me but I selected 'No' to ensure the return went through. Because of the selection on line 17905, there was a message after I filed that I'm claiming a capital gain/loss or property designation.

I have removed the selection on line 17905 on part 2 of schedule 3. Since I have done this after filing my return, do I need to file my tax return again?

No. If you didn't have anything on Schedule 3 other than the NO answer to the flipped property question, then you don't need to Refile.

I filed for my husband and I even though we had that warning pop up. I couldn’t find anything about flipping property, but we didn’t! It let me file. Am I going to be audited?! Should I refile?! Im freaking out, but we aren’t property owners and I couldn’t find anything called forms schedule 3. We have nothing to claim, please advise! :(

No. If it's just a warning, you can ignore it if it doesn't apply to you. CRA doesn't care if you didn't flip property, they only care if you did. 🙂
