How do I cancel an eligible dependent that was transferred from the prior year Turbo tax file without deleting the child

I claimed a child as an eligible dependent in 2015 in error. This was corrected by CRA via notice of reassessment.  When I transferred data to do the 2016 tax return, this incorrect information was transferred.  How do I delete the eligible dependent information in the 2016 tax return, without deleting the child?

Start a new return without importing prior year information.  Then you can re add your dependant without the eligible designation.
