It can take as little as 8 business days for your income tax return to be processed when you NETFILE. However, the Canada Revenue Agency requests that you wait at least 4 weeks before contacting them about the status of your income tax return. If you are registered for the My Account service on the Canada Revenue Agency, you can log in and check the status of your income tax return.
