I already e-filed my return, started the refile process only to find that I didn't actually need to. How do I abort the in progress return? There is no trash can shown.

I received an unexpected form that I thought would cause me to require refiling my return only to find in the process of working through the return that I needn't refile after all. 
I am given only the option to "Continue" with the online version of TurboTax. There is no trash can icon beside the "ReFILE" return.

You can just leave it for now. So long as you do not send it, it won't count as one against the amount of returns you can file.
