I am estranged from my now ex-husband I was still legally married to him in 2023 and am being asked for his SIN which I cannot get. How can I bypass this requirement?

If you were still married in 2023, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will still require your ex-spouse’s information (and they will need yours).

You can check your previous tax returns for the ex's SIN number. You can estimate their income, but if you do this, don't claim the spousal amount.
