My American wife lives in Canada and got PR status Feb 2022. TurboTax asks if residency or citizenship has changed, which it hasn't, but how does her PR factor in?

My wife filed taxes last year, and she started working once she received her Permanent Residency status. I'm wondering the best way to ensure that all T's are crossed and I's dotted. Thanks!

Her residency did change if she went from a non-resident to a permanent resident. As a resident she may be entitled to credits that a non-resident would not be, at least for the part of the year that she was a resident.
