My husband and I separated early this year. am I still entitled to half of our joint refund for last year? I would owe about 400 and he would be getting back 1200.

Unlike in some other countries, Canada doesn't have joint filing for spouses/partners. So, you will get your own refund or balance owing even if you are married. As a separated person, your return might change as some credits based on family income might no longer take your spouse’s income into the calculations.
