I did not mark Northern resident/additional deductions. Why is there an amount claim on my tax report?

Thank you for your question!

You will click on "Find"  top right and then type in "Northern Residence Deduction" You will then continue and delete all the amounts put in that section- the next 3 pages. Then you will click on Continue, you will then go back to the "Deduction" section and you will click on "SKIP" when it asks if you'd like to claim the Northern Residence Deduction. 

As per CRA  who can claim Northern Residence Deduction.
