Thank you for choosing TurboTax. The Canada Revenue Agency's goal is to send your refund within 2 weeks when you file online and 8 weeks when you file a paper return. However, please note that these timelines are only valid for returns CRA received on or before the due dates.
Also, refund delays may also be caused by small, often overlooked details. Even a small detail such as an incorrect apartment number can lead to delays in filing. Please log in to your CRA MyAccount and ensure that your personal information is correct and up to date.
Your refund may be delayed if you have an amount owed to a government agency. If you do owe another CRA department or have a Provincial debt, you should be able to find this information in your CRA My Account as well, or by contacting them directly at the General Enquiries number: 1-800-959-8281.
