Restart a return/ do we file as couple or separately

i start a return and it asking questions i can't answer and is not allowing me to enter both my husband T4. we moved to different provinces this year. he has two T4 for different provinces and its not allowing me to enter them both.

  also its asking if we are filling together or separately. i stupidly hit together and now i can't restart and can't answer questions iv never had so many issues with turbo tax last year this took me 20 mins this year iv been doing this for days now.

Once you have started preparing your returns together, there is no way to separate the returns. You would need to create a new return to prepare a separate return, which you can do by selecting “Start a New Return” from under “My Accounts & Returns”. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns”, and delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it.

You should be able to enter T4s from separate provinces. Just make sure that you are entering a separate T4 for each, you can’t merge the two into one.
