I was living with my girlfriend and we had a baby. Divorce was finalized from previous marriage all in 2014. what do i do if my marital status changed twice in the tax year.
If you are still living with your girlfriend and child, you will file as common law. The divorce is not required to be reported. They are interested in your present marital status, which may affect your deductions.
