My father-in-law lives outside of Canada but we support him financially. Can i add him as my dependent? Can I also put his medical bills as one of my big expense?
Cra states that a parent who pays child support cannot claim the child as a dependent on taxes but turbo tax says neither can the person who receives support payments?
