    Why am I being prompted to enter my spouses tax information when I indicated we were separated in 2022?

    Why am I being prompted to enter my spouses tax information when I indicated we were separated in 2022?

    Because you were separated in 2022, CRA will ask about your spouse since this will effect your credits for 2022. Some you will be entitled to and will be pro-rated.
