Wondering if I should be getting a deduction for my wife as a dependent? I notice this currently shows zero in my summary.

A spouse is not a dependant and will not show any amount under dependants.  If the spouse has less income than $11,138 you may be able to claim the spouse amount.  It should show just under your basic personal amounts.
