Dependant and daughter expences

My daughter is 16 years old, she worked and have income of over $6,000 on 2014.  Now when I file my income tax as a parent, can I claim my daughter as a dependant and enter her medical and sports expenses?  Or Who will claim the expenses if she is filing her income tax? Thank you.

Dependant and daughter expences

Yes you file her as a dependant and you claim the medical and child activity credits.
She can and should file a return in order get a possible tax refund and build RRSP deductibility.
As a a first time filer she may have to file by mail.
