Are you stinking kidding me?!?!?!??!

How on earth is the response from @TurboTaxBrenda even REMOTELY an answer, let alone a resolution to my original question?  I was not reporting that issue at all.  In fact, another Turbo Tax "expert" already reported that the situation I WAS REPORTING, should be resolved by April 14 so I was waiting a notification of that resolution within my original discussion.

Then some "expert" comes into the discussion, reports something UNRELATED and accepts their own response as the accepted answer and closes the thread??!?!?  This is ridiculous!

MY ORIGINAL ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED AND I DID NOT AND DO NOT ACCEPT THE "ANSWER" AS THE SOLUTION!  This might be the last year I use this software simply because of the absolutely garbage responses from the "experts" and then having my discussion closed without my input.  If I could get my money back for this software this year, I would not say no.

TurboTax is a real let down this year.

Still not resolved for me even with the release this morning (April 14).  Sure hope they are still working on this problem.  Telephone support says to just ignore the warning, but I would rather file a return with no warnings.

I just downloaded the latest version and it still does not work.   It is a very easy problem to duplicate so I am surprised that it is not fixed yet.

Not resolved. As I've responded to TurboTaxSusan in a separate discussion on the same topic, this appears to be a TT2024 bug. TT Admins should research thoroughly, acknowledge that it is a bug (or explain otherwise), state what the problem is and that action is being taken to resolve it.

Spouse and I both have the same problem. We had thought to finish things on Sunday, April 20, but no matter what we did the error was still there. I have been checking during the week to see if an update fixed the problem, but nothing so far. I just checked 5 minutes ago, and it is still giving the warning. We have never received this warning before when using TT.  We haven't tried to file yet, as we aren't sure if this means that the calculations are wrong somewhere.  As in, TT is not calculating our taxes correctly. Very disappointing given the price for the program.

Can someone please provide an update on this. Multiple family members are also running into this error on their tax returns. We get a Warning Review that says "You have a current-year non-capital loss on your return, but one or more entries is missing on Form T691: a loss reported on line 12600 but no entry on line 67830; a loss reported on line 12200 but no entry on line 67840; a claim on line 23200 but no entry on line 67820; or a claim on line 22100 but no entry on lines 67820 or 67840. Check your entries and make the necessary corrections."

I am lost. We have no current year non-capital losses on our returns? I've never even heard of T691 or AMT or Alternative Minimum Tax before, and I've been using TurboTax for about 13 years now. All I did was add carrying charges (ie. management fees) for a non-registered account to claim as a deduction.

I've waited and waited and it's still not resolved, nor is there an update on my TurboTax program and it's the last day to file! Do I just ignore the warning? I am not a tax wizard or stupid; I get by and usually our file taxes every year without much issue. Not this year! Please help!

Spouse and I waited until tonight to see if anything was fixed.  It wasn't, so we went ahead and filed.  Everything went through okay. Confirmation printed etc. We can't access the NOA yet, so not sure what that looks like. Our biggest concern was whether the warning was an indicator of an underlying program problem that would affect the overall calculations.  The jury is still out on that one.
