Are prescription lenses deductible in Canada or Quebec?

Vision devices â€“ including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and prescription swimming goggles to correct eyesight â€“ prescription needed.

You can include in medical expenses the amounts you pay for eyeglasses and contact lenses needed for medical reasons.

List them into "Prescriptions" and don't have to separate them. (unless you are a Québec resident whose medical expenses for eyeglass frames are limited to $200 per person)

For more information, please visit Canada Revenue Agency(CRA): Details of medical expenses
