I am a volunteer mentor at a Charitable Organization. Can I claim some of the activity costs I paid?

I am a volunteer mentor at a Charitable Organization (Boys and Girls Clubs). I take my mentee on weekly activities. Some of the activities cost a small fee and I cover the cost (admission, rentals, public transit, snacks). Is there any way to claim all or a portion of these receipts?

If you are not involved in an income earning activity, you will not be able to claim expenses that relate to that activity.
