I had medical expenses started in Nov 7 2016 and completion and payment was Jan 26 2017 what dates do I enter for claiming this medical expense.

Medical Expenses can be claimed for any 12 month period ending in the tax year. As a result, you can claim the full costs for these expenses on your 2017 tax return. On your 2018 return, you would start your medical expenses claim starting from Nov 7, 2017.
