If I organized a fundraiser in my name and we were able to raise and donate almost $700 to an international charity as well as over $6000 to a local one can I claim it?

Your efforts are commendable and the charities in question very fortunate to have a dedicated supporter like yourself. Unfortunately CRA will not allow for a donation receipt to be issued to anyone other then the person making the cash contribution and volunteer hours are not currently claimable.
