RRSP Carry Forward to Future Years (this year and next year)

Hi, I contributed the RRSP over the limit before the 2020 Income Tax Filing last year. After I filled up 2020 RRSP deduction limit and I have Unused contributions available to carry forward to future years (this year and then next year). It shows up on Turbo Tax Online for 2021 return.

Which contribution period should I choose?

March 2 to Dec. 31, 2021 or January 1 to March 31, 2022?

Thanks.

If you have transferred your information from last year into your 2021 return, and the transfer inputs unused RRSP contributions, then you don’t need to enter them again. TurboTax will automatically use them if your 2021 RRSP/PRPP Deduction limit allows it.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
