Can I change who claims the DTC with the Desktop version and Netfile?

Using the Desktop version and the lower-income spouse is registered with CRA to claim the disability tax credit for a dependent (under 18).   I have the option of choosing who claims the credit.   But the question is can I  Netfile in this case, or do I have to print & mail my return?

If this is not your first year filing and you have a T2201 filed, you can netfile.

So when I Netfile, the DTC will correctly be applied to the person selected, regardless of income?

Why is there a Warning that states that TurboTax will automatically apply the DTC to the spouse with the highest income when using Netfile?

A warning or quick tip will not prevent you from filing the return. With respect to who the eligible claimant(s) are for this credit please review further CRA guidance.
