Dear Community, I work in the UK physically for six months of the year and spend the rest of the time working remotely from Canada. My UK employer has been deducting taxes and informed me that I don't need to file taxes in the UK. I have a P60 form that shows the year's tax deductions.
When it comes time to file my Canadian taxes, am I required to pay taxes again? How can I avoid dual taxation? Will the P60 and payslips for the entire year be sufficient proof for the CRA?
I need help with this matter.
