Hi,
Using TurboTax Premier Online, I am trying to enter a capital gain reserve for a disposition that happened in 2021. In 2022 this reserve needs to generate an actual capital gain on my tax report. This value should appear in form T2017 line 66883 and cause a positive capital gain to be carried to T657. The disposition did not occur in 2022, nor did it happen in 2020 :-).
In the Details of Capital Gain Reserve form, I can only enter a reserve of disposition up to 2020. There is no space to enter a reserve made in 2021.
How can I enter a Capital Gain Reserve made for a disposition in 2021 that will show up on T2017 and T657?
I have been asking support a couple of times about this and I did not get an answer.
