I just filed my taxes, with a total income of $43112.37 and a CPP payment of $2360.29. However, I am getting a ridiculous refund of over $5 because the software is giving me back all the CPP contributed as an overpayment on Line 44800. I tried with my wife's information, and it's the same problem.
On your T4, do you have an amount on box 26? If it's blank, (nothing, not even zero) enter the amount from box 14 (up to a max of $73,200). This amount is pensionable earnings.
