As a non-resident filing your last Canadian tax return via paper, you do not need to include T5 slips with your return, as they are not relevant to non-residents.

What to Include:

When filing your final Canadian tax return as a non-resident, you should include:

  • Your completed tax return form (e.g., Form T1)

  • Any other relevant information slips (like T4, T4A, NR4, etc.) that pertain to your Canadian income

  • If you have rental income, include Form T776 or a statement showing your rental income and expenses

Thanks for choosing TurboTax.
