Issue updating SIN after payment discount offer – return not submitted

Hello,

 

I’m reaching out because I need help with my TurboTax account.

I purchased the “Assisted Self-Employed Review” using a promotional discount with a deadline of April 8th. To secure the discount, I proceeded to the final payment step, but I have not yet submitted my tax return.

Now that I’m ready to complete my filing, I’ve noticed that my SIN number is incorrect. I changed my SIN mid-2025, and I need to update it in my return. However, it seems that the field is now locked, possibly because I completed the payment step.

At the moment, I’m unable to edit my SIN, even though my return has not been submitted.

Could you please help me update my SIN or unlock this field so I can proceed correctly?

I have already paid. I guess if I do a new return it would work, but I would have to pay a second time AND the full price.. Not fair at all.
