I am employed full-time (so have a T4) but also have a sole proprietorship online business to generate extra income.
I typically submit my taxes the old fashioned way using forms and mailing them in, but am looking to use electronic filing this year.
I calculate all of my business income manually using the T2125 and don't need a guided version of Turbo Tax to help with filing. I am really just looking for a version that has the line items for Self Employment Income for both Gross and Net... otherwise my taxes are super simple.
Can anyone recommend which version I would need or if there is a location where I can check which line items are covered in each Turbo Tax version? I just think the Self-Employed version might be way more than what I need at the moment.
Thanks in advance,
Karen
Since you have Self -Employment income you would require to use TurboTax Self -Employed Version as the other versions will not have the required forms (T2125) to report your Self -Employment income and expenses.
To check more information for each version please visit this link.
Thanks for choosing TurboTax.
