Why can i not e-file my return?

After i finished filling out the taxes i went to file them to the cra but it would not accept them. Why?

CRA’s NETFILE and Auto-Fill My Return services are currently unavailable due to unscheduled maintenance at CRA.

not working for 4 days so deadline should not be May 1st

Actually it has been working quite fine. As to the deadline...that is determined by CRA and the government...it is still May 1st but if you feel it should be different you could try pleading your case to your local MP
