Why doesn't Turbo advise where best to put interest, dividends when doing a coupled return?

In coupled returns, when an opportunity exists to maximize your refund or lower your taxes owing by transferring an amount to a partner's return, TurboTax does it automatically regardless of which partner reported the amount.
