@Mathrym : The solution worked for me! I had some numbers saved in the detailed method, once I set them to zero, and selected flat rate method, it let me file.

Where did you go to clear these Detailed Method fields? I am stuck in the T4 - fix error loop and can't find them in the Employment Expenses section either... 😩

Praise you Mathrym. I was ready to give up after going through that loop over and over again. No thanks to Turbotax though.
