Getting started
Make sure your Windows OS is up to date. For installation issues, make sure you are following these points:
- You have the administrator rights on the profile you are installing TurboTax on.
- You are not trying to install on a cloud.
- Turn off your antivirus software and Windows Defender before installation & be sure to turn it back on after.
- Try this link to download TY25: https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/2025/dls/TurboTax_2025.exe
