Unfortunately, you can’t transfer information from TurboTax Online into TurboTax Desktop.

Why not? Does that mean that I will need to reenter all my information and carry forward data manually?

Importing your data
TurboTax Online can't export anything other than a PDF file, and TurboTax Desktop can't open PDF files.
And yes, unfortunately, this means that you'll have to re-enter your data. But if you use Auto-Fill, it will pick up any carry-forwards that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) keeps track of.

Why didn't Inuit tell us this flaw in online Turbo Tax? If I had known I wouldn't have bought the desktop version.
I'm getting my refund and might as well start from scratch with another program.
Good Bye TurboTax and as a matter of fact, good bye Quicken as well.

Exactly! It's time to switch away from Turbo Tax. It's disgusting for Intuit to hold hostage of our tax information. I'm going to move away from Turbo Tax after this year for good.
