I began preparing mine and my wife's returns jointly but now I'd like to file them separately. How do I separate the returns without having to delete the whole thing and start from scratch?
Unfortunately, once you've started to prepare a return with your spouse, there is no way to separate the two. You would have to start over if you want to prepare your returns separately.
