Can I claim travel expenses (ferry costs) incurred to get to work?
I travel on the Ferry every day to get to work on an island. Can I claim these costs?

Self-employed
Unfortunately, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) considers travel between an employee’s home and their regular place of employment to be personal travel. Any expenses related to that travel are considered to be personal expenses, and so are not deductible.
