Hi, I have a question

I have purchased a car back in 2021 at that time I decided to register the car under my wife's name in Quebec. Later when I moved to Ottawa, I started working as an Uber driver so I had to transfer the ownership to myself without paying any registration fees.

Can I claim the registration fees that I paid back in 2021 in my taxes? I have proof that I have paid for it.

In 2021 when you paid the registration, you were not an UBER driver in Quebec. When you became an UBER driver there was no registration fees to be paid therefore that expense is not valid for 2022.
