How would I claim my utilities (power, gas, phone, etc) for both businesses that I run out of my home in the same office? I ran both businesses all year last year. Would i just claim half & half for utilties?
Yes, since claiming the full amount twice would be frowned on by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and may activate an audit should they request receipts.
